FUNDAMENTALS

The MMA fundamental course is 10 sessions, 2 a week spanning over a 5 week period and covers all the basics of MMA so you can comfortably move on to the main session. These courses are on a constant re-occuring cycle meaning you can start the course whenever suits you best and complete the 10 sessions in any order. The 10 sessions cover the following:

Session 1: Basics of Standup Punching

Session 2: Basics of Standup Kicking and Kneeing

Session 3: Basics of Wrestling

Session 4: Basics of Clinch Work

Session 5: Basics of Guard Passing (Groundwork)

Session 6: Basics of Guard Attacking (Groundwork)

Session 7: Basics of Side Control Attacking (Groundwork)

Session 8: Basics of Side Control Reversals (Groundwork)

Session 9: Basics of Mount (Groundwork)

Session 10: Basics of Turtle (Groundwork)

We ask that all students looking to start with 12 Gauge MMA and have no previous experience in MMA, BJJ or No-Gi grappling (6 months minimum) to complete this course. It will help build the strong foundations needed to move onto the novice sessions. The fundamental sessions run on a Monday and Wednesday night 18.00 - 19.00
